   Worshipful Hinote was initiated an Entered Apprentice September 17, 1997, passed the to degree of Fellowcraft October 15, 1997, and raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason November 19, 1997, in Keystone Lodge No. 80 A.F.&A.M. in Solon, Maine.

   His York Rite journey started in 2007 with the Mark Master Mason on May 24, Past Master Mason on June 28, Most Excellent Master and Royal Arch Mason on October 25, 2007 in Kennebec Chapter No. 67 in Solon Maine and through the Council Degrees in early 2008 in the Mt. Moriah Council No. 10 in Madison, Maine. He went through the chivalric orders of the Red Cross on September 2, the Order of Malta on October 7, the Temple of the Red Cross on December 2, 2008, and the DeMolay Commandery No. 10 in Madison, Maine.

   He moved to Florida in 2010 and soon began attending Tarpon Lodge No. 112 and affiliated as a dual member on January 1, 2012. He was installed, as Worshipful Master of Tarpon Lodge No. 112 for the Masonic year of 2016.

On May 19, 2012 he was made a Master of the Royal Secret having received the 32° of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Tampa, in the Orient of Florida. He was actively involved with the Knights of St. Andrew and was elected to serve as Venerable Master for the year 2022. He joined York Rite College and Knight Masons in 2021. He was installed Illustrious Master of Clearwater Council No. 34 in 2021, High Priest of Clearwater Chapter No 45, and Eminent Commander of Springtime Commandery No. 45 in 2022. 

   He also served as the Worshipful Master of Memorial Lodge for the 18th Masonic District for 2022 and again for 2023.
